Dear grammar police......

Why would I pick on someone who doesn't know English very good? I don't either. I mean, is fanpop really that formal?

EDIT: And btw, who invented 'grammar police' in the first place? The police is there to bust criminals and other people who go against the law. Not mentioning bạn forgot to use a puncuation mark. Seriously, what the H-?

Okay I've always cared about spelling a lot but when someone makes a little mistake, then it's no problem. Everyone makes mistakes, we're not all perfect. bạn have to accept that. I don't care actually if bạn type in text talk hoặc however way bạn want to type, unless I can understand it. Dyslexia is a common thing and the majority of people on here might have that and bạn don't know. I do think people take it too far on here. Way too far. This is going out to all the people who have difficulty spelling: Spell however bạn want, don't let Grammar Nazi's get bạn down. I'm here if bạn ever want me to back bạn up. And I'm also here if bạn ever want to talk. Cause unlike the majority of people on here, I don't judge.

I hate when people use bad grammar, no offense to bạn but I have to disagree with what you're saying.
It DOES matter the way people spell things on here, and yes it is a good reason to make fun of that person, it's not our fault, that person needs to be responsible for his/her actions.
It's best to be using the right grammar instead of half the words I can't even read.

grammar is important for like tsetsnd nghề viết văn sách and stuf like that but i really dont get why people have to bình luận on every single detail on when they are just talking and it really pi**es me off cuz they are diễn xuất like total dumb a** people well what if they had adhd hoặc teretts hoặc some condition with their hands bạn would feel like a dummb fu** and its selfish and rude yes i get like if bạn say bạn spelt this word rong could bạn please fix it? it really bothers me but oh no they have to act like fu**tards in their a**hole behavior. just saying i speklt and grammarized rong on purpose and i really dont give a fu** what bạn think so if bạn reply to this it shows how weak and pothetic bạn are. go ahead and hiển thị your opinion i really wont giv a fu**! now bạn have a good ngày mmmmmmhhhhhhmmmm?

Sheesh... way to make an Honors English student feel bad about being really strict about grammar.

Why are bạn so worried about what other people think about your grammar? I mean sure if you're talking 'liek dis all d tyme'

it would get really annoying...and I may think you're mildly retarded..

But then again why people think it makes bạn look stupid? grammar IS a factor of intelligence. Good grammar doesn't  make bạn a genius but it helps to avoid looking like an unintelligent moron.
Language is a garden. It is always growing and changing, and it should be tended to with tình yêu and care. Please do not step on the flowers.

I know that it's important for someone to have good grammar, but everyone slips up a few times.

The grammar police should be a little nicer to people who don't use correct grammar that often(i.e. maybe they're just doing that for fun, they don't really know the language, hoặc some other factors). People should consider the other person's thoughts and/or feelings. x3

In case nobody hadn't noticed bởi now, arguing over the internet is pointless and a waste of time. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion so there's no reason to get mad at other people for having them. Any two năm old can throw a fit. People are always to say things that bạn don't wanna hear so respect it and get over it.

The main reason people are harsh is that they have low self-esteem hoặc are insecure, and so they feel better about themselves when they put someone else down. When people have self-respect, then they usually are able to exhibit empathy and respectful behavior towards others.

Guys, bạn may want to lay off. Before bạn correct spelling and grammar, check to see if they're from an English-speaking country first. My parents are American, but they were missionaries in Budapest, Hungary, and they speak it very fluently. They also read it. But that doesn't mean that they could write it very well.
So seriously, if they're from America hoặc some other country where the people can speak and write English well, I stand behind you, grammar polizei.
But if not, then get off their backs.

I don't pick on people who misspell hoặc typo,or even forget punctuation,I just hate it when someone actually misspells words to make it look "Cool",It's really disrespectful of the language and the people bạn are talking to,plus it makes bạn look retarded,or 3 years old.
