What should I do about being lonely?

I am in seventh grade, to start out. I am also in band, but since I am 'musically gifted' I was moved to an 8th grade class for band. Since I have this class I have to have 8th grade lunch to fit the school's schedule, and I am pretty lonely at lunch. There are other seventh graders there but believe it hoặc not most of the 'popular' kids are in band. (80% of the school is). So I have been sitting in the same spot for lunch all năm where I was content being alone but now some boys took my spot and when I try to sit somewhere else the people there shoo me away. I know I didn't own that spot but neither did they. Any advice?
