I have red hair and feckles, too. In olden days, people belived anyone with those characteristics were witches and had them burned at the stake.

I've never really noticed either, but I'll take their accounts as comprehendible.

I didn't know that. But i doubt the drowning one is. If the villagers suspected bạn of being a witch, they strapped bạn onto a device and dipped bạn in a river. If bạn drowned. bạn were not a witch, but if bạn SURVIVED, your a witch!
