I can't choose between all of them! Madoka has to die so many times and it gets worse every time, Sayaka went into madness and turned into a witch, Mami lost her parents and got killed very gruesomely, Homura had been trying to save Madoka countless times and failed each time and had to see her die over and over, Kyoko's family could hardly survive and her dad went crazy and killed her family when he found out about magical girls and Sayaka was all Kyoko had and Kyoko couldn't save her, Madokakami has to be alone forever because Homura gave up trying to save her, I don't know about Kyubey though. He doesn't have emotion but I added him anyway.

Kyoko has a terribly sad story. GAAAHH!!! THIS IS SO HARD!

They all have sad stories I can't decide which is sadder all of them have sad stories so I choose all of them

They all were sad, but for me it would be a tie between Homura and Kyouko.

All of them had heart wrenching stories but Homura's was the one that drove me to tears.

I thin because her own father killed her family i consider it the most tragic Also how is Kyubey's story sad?

I had previously thought of Mami's story to be the saddest, but then I realized that the main reason I felt that way was because I personally relate to her more than any of the other girls on some levels. But when I really think about it, I'd have to say Kyoko's story is the most tragic. She has a kind of bad life barely able to find food, everyone around her treating her father badly. Then once she makes her wish everything seems nice and happy - maybe even close to perfect. Until her father discovers she's a magical girl. He starts to drink all the time, he accuses her of being a witch who made a deal with the devil, and everntually he kills Kyoko's mother and little sister and then hangs himself. Now Kyoko has to continue living with the weight of her entire families death on her shoulders. It's amazing she didn't fall into despair and become a witch right then!

i really think all because first mami got her head bitten off, madoka when she is a magical girl she see's everyone die besides homura, homurs because he has tried to save madoka overt and over but fails, godness madoka because she is the god not having anyone by herside and no one knowing her except homura, kyubey because he has to see everyone die and create a new magical girl, sayaka because she turns into a witch and, kyoko because her parents die, everyone is sad:(

And there is Sayaka too, awfully terrible
Mami, who had a near death experience. She seeked to survive, somehow, someway, only survive... Then, she was alone
Madoka, who.. well, I don't think is that close. Hehe she had good family nd good friends... but what she have to face.... and what she decided to do in the end; gosh, that's pretty painful
