::Mya POV:: (a week later)


So it’s been a week since Jacob came. He’s been really good with the whole ‘just friends’ thing but I haven’t. Well, bạn see…I kinda, sorta was…teasing him. I thought it would be fun but I never thought about what would happen when the week was over. I decided that I’m gonna give him one last chance. I was sitting in my room just listening to music. Thinking about everything. Jaden has been blowing up my phone for no reason. We were about half an giờ into the movie. I looked up at him. He looked down at me and smiled. I put on a fake smile back. I sat up a little and started touching his face with my finger. he gave me a bit of a confused face. I smiled at him. We got inside and I saw that my phone had a bunch of missed calls. They were from Jaden. I ran my fingers through my hair. I only gave him my number so I could call him when I got home, and thank him for helping me.” I said. He took a deep and ran his fingers through his hair. I know this isn’t the right time to say this but he’s sexy when he’s mad. I don’t want to have to be the one to tell him myself.” he said. I found it cute how jealous and protective he was being. I realized how late it was and decided that i wanted to take an late night shower. “I’m gonna go take a shower, bạn feel free to watch t.v if bạn want” I đã đưa ý kiến pointing to the t.v. “Alright” he đã đưa ý kiến simply. I grabbed my towel and went inside the bathroom. The first thing I did was stare in the mirror. I still hate them and I still don’t think I in anyway beautiful, but I noticed that me saying no to people isn’t gonna stop them from saying it, so I just give up. And I still haven’t been eating either. I stripped myself. I made sure the water was extra warm. I looked at myself. I scanned all my scars and bruises on my body. I could already tell that some of them would be permanent. I’m gonna have to live with some of this marks for the rest of my life. Oh well. I tried to stop myself from crying but it wasn’t working. I’m tired of crying. I wanna smile. A single tears still managed to run down my cheek. Its annoying. You’d think bởi now I’d have no thêm tears left. I heard a knock on the door. “Charlene?” I heard Jacob say. I quickly took a towel and covered myself. “yeah, bạn can come in” I said. I saw the door open and he came in. “Are bạn ok? I sighed in relief as I began to enter the shower. It still burned but I stuck it out. I looked down at my disgusting body. It’s like the feeling never goes away. I can’t go a ngày without shedding any tears. I’m gonna have to live with the memory for the rest of my life. All the punching and kicking replayed into my mind. It’s like a broken disc that keeps playing over and over. I felt the salty substance travel down my face. I can’t keep crying like this, but it’s hard. I put my face under the faucet letting the water hit my face. I felt someone give me a hug from behind. It scared me to death. I turned around and saw Jacob. I didn’t even hear him come in. I automatically covered myself up with my hands. I was still speechless at the fact that he even came in here. He gently took my hands off my body and scanned it. I scanned his also. “What are y-” “Be quiet” he whispered. I don’t understand. Why isn’t he leaving? My body is not a pretty sight. He came closer to me. I was so nervous. He’s right in front of me…naked. “Don’t be nervous. i won’t do anything. I just want to hold you” he whispered. I looked on as the water hit his body. His eyes wondered all over my body again. I saw tears go down his face. What’s the matter with him? “Why are bạn crying?” I asked him. “I will never forgive myself for letting them hurt you. I took my hand off and softly kissed his lips and looked into his beautiful brown eyes. “It’s ok” i repeated. He pulled me into a hug. There was nothing between us. I had nothing to hide anymore.
