	kateliness2 picked the 2005 Movie: For me, it was 6 (Mr. Collins, Mr. Bingley, Lydia, Caroline Bingley, Mary Bennett, Mr. Wickham) for the miniseries and 8 (Lizzy, Darcy, Jane, Lady Catherine, Mr. Bennett, Charlotte, Mrs. Bennett, Kitty) for the 2005 movie. The excellent casting and cinematography are the reasons I love the movie most. It also had these beautiful subtle dynamics that the 1995 series lacked slightly. I know my opinion is not the popular one at least out of those who comment. Oh, well. You can say I'm not a true Jane Austen fan, but I know I am. 	Gabitha picked the 1995 mini-series: Overall i lived the BBC version better, but some characters like Mr.Collins which i liked in the 2005 movie better. lol =) But in my opinion, the 2005 movie was too American and not British, like the BBC one thats how they would of acted and wore their hair and clothes. The fact that it's a miniseries allows us to explore more and one of the reasons that I was disappointed in the movie is that it can't do that. I didn't think Keira pulled the roll of Elizabeth off very well, mainly because she played a completely different Lizzy from the character in the book. 	MissDK picked the 2005 Movie: I think that fans of the 1995 mini-series generally tend to tell fans of the 2005-movie that they're stupid because they prefer the movie, which is disrespectful in my opinion, but to each their own. Anyway, I ADORE both versions, series and movie, although I generally prefer the movie because the casting in it was better overall. I think 1995-Jane was very bad. She was so dull and not at ALL beautiful and Mrs. Bennett in the mini-series was an absurd person, like a cartoon. To sum up: 1995 mini-series: Mr. Collins, Mary Bennett, Mr. Bennett, Mr. Bingley, Georgiana Darcy 2005: Lizzy, Mr. Darcy, Jane Bennet, Lydia & Kitty Bennet, Mrs. Bennet, Caroline Bingley, Lady Katherine, Charlotte Lucas. 	Echoes picked the 1995 mini-series: Overall, the casting in the 1995 version was infinately superior. Although I cannot discredit that the 2005 casting was a passably good effort, and a very interesting interpretation, in my opinion, they did not do justice to what I imagine the characters are supposed to be like. The interactions between the characters and perceptions on how they would have lived their lives and made their decisions was all spot-on and made me feel like I was there with them. posted hơn một năm qua.

	xjiiu picked the 2005 Movie: i prefer almost every cast member in 05 better, (a few exceptions, but very few, for example Anne - she never really talks in either but in 05 she seems Too healthy and pretty, at least in 95 they tried to make her look ugly, sick, and unappealing! 05 she just looks shy!) i also prefer how they had the characters act and interact in 05. in 95 a lot of the characters were annoying. they only thing i really like better about 95 is getting to see more of the story, and more of side-character development. in 05 there isn't enough time to include all that information. posted hơn một năm qua.
