Yes she was but she seems one of those helpless causes who won't ever listen to a thing anyone else says so there's hardly any helping her. And marrying someone like Wickham is what she gets for it. I suppose since they're sisters and Lydia has such a big consequence for being so stupid she can forgive her. Plus Lizzy has Darcy and lives in Pemberley and doesn't ever have to see Wickham again if she wants. So suck on that Lydia!

She's just immature - she was only supposed to be 15. Imagine a boy crazy teenager getting the chance to run away and get married to a handsome soldier. She was annoying, but mostly immature!
