Um, MEWTWO RETURNS is #2! (Domino, Team Rocket Agent 009, rocks!) But I loved many of them: The First Movie, Heroes, 4Ever, Spell of the Unown, Temple of the Sea, Giratina & the Sky Warrior, & Jirachi: Wishmaker...

A little 1st gen. bias going on here(or maybe not). The only really good 1 from that gen. that I've seen is Spell of the Unown it had a very interesting plot, the 1st and 2nd films were way too cliche especially the way Mewtwo finds peace at the end. The 2nd film suffers from a terrible plot device when Melody basically sums up the entire movie in the beginning making it way too predictable, and what's up with Ash being the chosen 1? Would you leave the fate of the world in his hands? What's to stop Tracey and Misty from helping him? They really needed to learn how to scale down some of these threats and make them more believable for the sake of the plot...
Lucario & the Mystery has excellent back story, plot development, and resolution easily the best Pokemon flick yet. Only rivaled by Jirachi the Wishmaker which is far too underappreciated... it also had great plot development and May, Max, and Diane do a very good job of carrying the film. The mutated Groudon still remains the scariest creature to date... I also really like Pokemon Ranger & the Temple of the Sea it was really touching but I won't brown nose it too much, my only real problem with it was the Sea Crown making Ash invincible... they couldn't think of anything better to do?
1. Lucario & the Mystery of Mew
2. Jirachi the Wishmaker (and Max still gets no love...)
3. Spell of the Unown (Charizard and Entei had quite the battle as well)
4. Pokemon Ranger & the Temple of the Sea (May+Manaphy=absolute cuteness, so much cuddling between them... very sweet ending. I also loved how Ash cared for May in this one)
5. Hard to choose between Destiny Deoxys, Pokemon the Movie 2000, and the Rise of Darkrai... They're very interchangeable the Rise of Darkrai is more interesting than 2000 but the plot is a bit overblown as well... for now I say a. Destiny Deoxys (good plot), b. The Rise of Darkrai, and c. Pokemon the Movie 2000.
8. Giratina and the Sky Warrior (What makes Zero lose his damn mind? and where does Shaymin making it to the Flower Garden fit in with all this? Couldn't they think of a better way for Giratina to escape the Reverse World than Seed Flare?)
9. Pokemon the 1st Movie (shocked? Don't be. It had something going for it with Mewtwo's intense backstory but the ending was far too sappy.)

11. Pokemon 4Ever (so much to say about this one I don't even know where to begin... I'll just say the pacing was very slow, somethings were left unanswered, the climax was pretty poor, and not to mention Misty was almost non-existant... apart from getting her knee hurt.)


I know I skipped 10 it's because I haven't seen Heroes yet... but I hear it's pretty good... can't be any worse than 4ever.

Oh, this one was a hard pick. I love all the movies! (Call me crazy, I don't care.)

I always cry during the battle scene, when all the pokemon are fighting, the clone pikachu is slapping pikachu :/ nd its playing that "Brother my Brother" song, it just brings me to tears, no idea why really...

I liked this one a lot but I also like the first two and Mewtwo Returns with Domino.
