I'm guessing you haven't seen other fan theories, here's one:

In Pokemon Red/Blue and the remakes of them your rival had a Raticate on the SS Anne yet when you meat him again at Lavender Town he doesn't have it anymore and then asks if you know what's it like to lose someone, connoting that you killed it.

Now considering how morbid and disturbing some of the Pokédex entries are and the fact Pokémon have died in the game, the Marowak ghost in the tower was killed by Team Rocket, the Raticate dying due to not getting treatment in time is plausible.

But for this I cba to re-read it can find logical reasons for it to work minus the fact that much electricity should be able to kill a man let alone a 10 year old.

so whats the theory in that? everyone knows the Marowak was killed by team rocket. and these are facts not like the stupid coma theory above. That is just ridiculous. It is all made up and nothing true. Just crap and no one should be interested in it. If it had some LOL purpose, i could have thought of throwing some shits but this is just plain nonsense. -_-

Thats the theory, the Marowak part is evidence of Pokémon being killable in the games, the player's don't due to game mechanics.

Want to try prove how it is nonsense? Considering Ash hasn't aged (he has no memory or brain power to predict how he would age), he has never gotten seriously injured (Charizard's Flamethrower can melt boulders according to the Game Pokédex and Ash's Pokédex states in can melt anything (according to bulbapedia) yet Ash is fine after having countless Flamethrowers) and how the people he see's in the series could be various parts of his psyche isn't impossible since I've heard of similar coma's during my time on the net.

All your basically doing is going 'NO' due to bias to simplistic storyline. While people could say you can' have the main character die and what's happened to him is a trope seen in other series, you've refused to put any logical response in.

And while any person in their right mind knows this obviously isn't fact since no way would Pokémon Company want to mind fuck and ruin people's childhood, this is just fruit for thought supported by evidence from the series.

I don't believe this is taken seriously! I have never heard of this before, would have found it before somehow if it was that popular. And Charizard's flamethrower on Ash might not be the harsh one, just a light one which doesn't hurts at all like the Rapidash whose flame doesn't hurt if he don't want to. And why only Ash huh? Then you haven't been around the net as much as I have, obvious but needed to be stated yet again. Charizard had no respect for Ash until the latter half of the Orange Leagues, until then he had no legit reason not to use a decent Flamethrower and even then if a normal Flamethrower by a Charizard melts boulders a light one should still burn people alive. And yeah mentioning Team Rocket boosts my point even more since they get blasted miles away everytime and are ok next episode.

I'm sorry if you can't understand the Psyche part then you either didn't read the article properly(I already know this), just going NO as usual or you just don't understand what I meant but I cba to waste my time explaining it. I think you may have miss read what I meant. What I meant by 'Right mind' is that a person is capable reading this and while knowing its wrong, it still has some sense in it. I'm a hater and while I much prefer this over the actual anime I can say with certainty its wrong.

The other theory only has 2 vague facts in it, the fact he doesn't have a Raticate when you meet him in the tower and the other being that he ask's you have you lost anyone. I can easily counter that by saying he could've switched it out or that looking at the pokemon memorials reminded him of a dead relatives(only humans are referred to as 'someone' while animals(which pokemon are) are referred as 'something'). The other theory is supported by real-life logic that rarely ever works within fiction and various parts of the anime.

I have been on the internet like everyday from the past few years. You could have actually said that i don't search on the things you do!
I remember Charmander lightning the candle Brock asked to and the flame went through his face, but wait he didn't even panic! just it has to be Ash, isn't it? If Pokemon attacks would've affected people in a serious manner, then they would always be cautious about it.

And tbh this doesn't insult the anime at all, tbh if it was true then I would be praising it for such an intriguing plot device. And do you know what lightning can do to a person? Not really when in real life Humans don't do what they're supposed to do at times and for most part we're far more intelligent then Pokémon. Plus animals can be taught to understand commands aka human speech.

I still watch every movie that comes out and will watch an episode if its a core episode or a battle that sounds good, Ash vs Paul as an example, when bored.

I know about the manga, its the anime we were talking about i think, and plus we already know Pokemon get killed (just at the Marowak thing we talked). Back to the topic: well, i cannot agree with that fully. Pokemon definitely are better, far better. And you know this as well, not said that real life animals are dumb or cannot do great things but ofc nothing like Pokemon. obviously. Pokémon on average has shown barely anything beyond animal instinct, hence why they are the animals of the pokémon world and are treat as pets.

About my surprise yes, I knew bits and pieces about lightning since my early teens from science class.

You know me, I hate reading rants and won't read them. The only flaw I've seen is that it mentions Ash walks mostly due to a phobia of bikes caused by the incident but he has shown to ride them at least once in Kanto and I'm sure he has other times as well.
