Alder decided to raise the child as his son and named him Cole.
When Cole was growing up Alder taught him how to use his powers for good. Soon Cole was able to shoot lighting from his hands and control lighting during storms.
While Cole was growing up Zekrom watch him from the clouds making sure he was an toàn, két an toàn from danger.
When Cole turned ten, he and alder went to the Hoenn region. In the Hoenn region Cole caught his first pokemon when he saved an Absol from a pack of Zangoose.
