If there was anything accurate to describe the situation of Jeyton's break-up in season3, then I wouldn't come up with anything because quite frankly, I have no idea what happened when I rewatched it at least four times for the last two years. And then somehow I realized that it's not what I see in tangible sense that could make me further understood what just happened between Jake and Peyton when they were so perfect together; Mark had simply written them off in a way as a sacrifice; while Brucas became an escape route.
