Peter Dinklage is now, without a doubt, one of our favorite people. The ‘Game of Thrones’ star received thunderous applause the second he stepped on the ‘Saturday Night Live’ stage, and he wasted no time to tell fans about Jon Snow’s fate in his monologue!

Peter Dinklage, 46, AKA Tyrion Lannister, totally commanded the 

 stage on April 2. His opening monologue was, of course, 

themed, which featured a guest appearance from “George R. R. Martin” — but more importantly, Peter revealed everything he knows about what’s going to happen to Jon Snow in Season 6!

Donning a navy blue suit (a bit different from what Tyrion wears), Peter immediately addressed the upcoming

 season’s most burning question: Is Jon Snow really dead? So Peter, what do you know about Jon Snow?

“I have no idea if Jon Snow is really dead,” Peter admitted. Nooooo! That’s not what we wanted to hear!

fans, he made up for it with his hilarious reasoning. “The scripts I see are scenes that I’m in,” he continued. “So if I’m not in the scene, Petey no read-y.”

Okay, at least Peter gave us something to laugh about after giving us such bummer news! Plus, Bobby Moynihan provided a hilarious George R. R. Martin impression, and Leslie Jones swooped in as a dragon at the end of the monologue — and we couldn’t stop laughing! With all of this

talk and no answers about Jon Snow, we’re totally dying to know what’s going to happen!

Fans received a taste of the next season of 

 on March 26, when a new trailer was released. True to its source material, the shocking teaser foreshadowed one basic theme: death. “Are you afraid?” Tyrion asks in the trailer. “You should be. We’re in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying.” Then we get to see shots of a scared Daenerys, Sansa and Theon running around in the woods. Typical. “We are sinful creatures,” the High Sparrow says in the teaser. “We deserve death — we all do.” How pleasant!
