I personally really like Blackjack as well, but I did find it a little fishy that he is black, refers to white Percy as "boss" and has horrible grammar, as (incorrect) stereotypes sometimes have. My suspicions were hightened when I found out there was another pegasus named Guido, which is a term for a low-class Italian American, often used as a stereotype - this character wasn't built up much, but I would have been like O_O if it turned out he DID behave like a stereotypical Italian-American
