After giving it a lot of thought, Everett decided he was finally going to do it. He was finally going to ask Una to marry him. Of course, he needed a ring to present to her when he proposed. One day, he went to the jewelry store to pick out a ring. As he looked around, the owner of the store asked, "Do bạn need help finding anything?" Everett said, "Yes, I do. I'm looking for the perfect ring. I'm planning on asking my girlfriend to marry me." The store owner smiled. "Yes, of course. Right this way." The store owner showed Everett a very beautiful diamond ring. Everett said, "That will look beautiful on her." The store owner said, "You picked a good time too. Everything is on sale." Everett said, "That's nice. Of course, bạn can't put a price on love." The store owner replied, "I agree. Your girlfriend is very lucky. I wish bạn all the best." Everett paid for the ring and said, "Thank you." As he left, he đã đưa ý kiến to himself, "I can't wait to tell my family and Mrs. Stratton. They'll be so thrilled."

Ferdinand gazed out the window of his parents' car, enjoying the view of the woods lining the road, lit bởi the occasional streetlamp. Anjanette and Uncle Bruce set out to look for Ferdinand. They went to the places where Anjanette and Ferdinand liked to go, but there was no sign of him. They even asked locals if they had seen him. Nobody had seen him. Anjanette then said, "Uncle Bruce, I think Ferdinand went into the woods. Otherwise, someone would have seen him." Uncle Bruce nodded. "Maybe you're right. It's a good thing I packed some essentials." The two went into the woods. Pretty soon, Anjanette wondered away from her uncle, forgetting that he told her to stay close. It was getting dark.
