I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Catch up with 'Outlander' ahead of the midseason premiere | EW.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
'Outlander' exclusive peek: Claire-Jamie honeymoon over?
fans who have been eagerly waiting for a new episode since September. The beginning of the first season left fans with so many questions and expectations for the second half—and really, who isn’t excited for that skinny-dipping scene on the horizon?
While we do know Jamie and Claire manage to escape from “Black Jack” Randall, there are still plenty of challenges ahead—if we could only just go back to the joy of their wedding night, right? Ahead of the midseason premiere, EW put together a few details from the first half to refresh fans’ memories and get us all excited for what’s to come with Jamie and Claire, the MacKenzie clan, and the villainous “Black Jack.” SPOILERS AHEAD for those who aren’t caught up on the first half of season 1.
Dougal MacKenzie and the Jacobite donations: Dougal and his men, along with Jamie and Claire, traveled the Scottish countryside to collect rent from tenants. But Dougal had an ulterior motive in bringing Jamie along for the journey: He was hoping Jamie’s flogging scars inflicted by the British would inspire his fellow Scots to donate money to the Jacobite cause. The performance was successful as the deep indentations on Jamie’s back were enough to shock people into handing over their spare coin. However, Dougal’s secret side-job could cause a rift within the MacKenzie clan when the group returns to Castle Leoch.
Frank has returned to England: Frank has just about exhausted his desperate search for Claire after weeks of follow-up with the Inverness police. His breaking point came when the reverend’s housekeeper told him Claire was most likely a time traveler, transported to another era by the standing stones. While he doesn’t take her seriously, he does make a point of veering off the road on his way back to Oxford to re-visit Craigh na Dun to be sure. In the end, he turns back toward his car and that is the last we’ll see of Frank in season 1.
Jamie’s innocence and his desire to return to Lallybroch: Jamie has been on the run for years for a murder he didn’t commit. But now, a potential witness has come forward in the form of Horrocks, a Redcoat deserter who says he can provide the name of who actually killed the guard on the night Jamie escaped from Fort William. Can this man be trusted? Jamie was willing to take that chance since he’s pretty eager to get his freedom back and return to his beloved home, Lallybroch.
Claire and Jamie on the rocks?: After the two were attacked by Redcoat deserters, Claire feels distant from Jamie. She’s angry at herself for getting caught up and forgetting that she wanted to return to Frank. But how will these re-surfaced feelings play out when Claire and Jamie are reunited?
“Black Jack” Randall is the worst: Randall has Claire held up in Fort William, determined to break her and find out who she really is. What he does know is that she isn’t in the employ of his close confidant, the Duke of Sandringham, as she claimed to be (Claire
had Randall fooled). Randall isn’t going to just let Claire walk out of there unscathed—despite the fact that she did nothing wrong—but thankfully, Jamie arrived just in time to rescue her.
