It's not that I don't like Charming, although he's not my favorite. I think that Snow would have been a stronger character independent of Charming and the story of her dealing with the loss of her prince would have been more interesting then their ongoing love story.

I picked no because no I don't think it would have been better. It wasn't your phrasing of the question, I made a typo up there myself lol. I don't think I was clear in my phrasing, so I'll rephrase it; I don't like him but the show needs Charming, therefore it was better that he lived.

I don't know if the show as a whole would have been better...but I could do without having to hear that "I will always find you" crap every other episode. Plus, he's my least fave character so....

I feel like part of the reason David was such a dud was that the writers didn't really know what to do with him.

There are so many tragic love stories as it is that I'm happy there is one couple we can always count on being together

Maybe it would have been a more dramatic start, but killing Charming? .. Don't think so!

I don't know some things would have been better I suppose, but it would be so heartbreaking for Snow.

I can't imagine the show without him. All that exist in the show, exist for a reason. No matter if we love them, like them, hate them, they are necessary.
