Why do they make David and Mary Margaret so corny?

I hate to say this considering how much i tình yêu the hiển thị but for the longest time, i don't always like how the the hiển thị portrays MM and David. I mean for one, they really overdo it with all the kissing and hugging each other and sweet talk. Also and this is thêm directed towards MM, she never seems to treat Emma as a friend anymore. I mean I know she's her daughter and stuff and it's cool and sweet if not a little creepy that she still attempts to treat Emma like her daughter but considering they're the same age, I think it'd be nice if MM could start treating Emma as thêm then just her daughter. Kinda like how they're relationship was during the 1st season. At least David treats Emma like his fighting crime partner as well as his daughter. I don't know. I just always thought they would've had Snow be a little thêm badass which is why I always tình yêu seeing her with a sword and crossbow. I hate to say it but in a way, I kinda liked the Snow White during "Heart of Darkness" when she was under the potion that made her mean LOL – Liên minh huyền thoại It's not that I want her to be evil, I just kinda wish that they could mix in some of that Snow from the "Heart of Darkness" scenes with the normal Snow. Another thing is that I kinda wish MM and David would fight thêm often. In my opinion, that really expresses a real-life and healthy couple. Again I don't want to offend and again, I tình yêu the hiển thị and I do tình yêu Snow and David (most of the time). I just sometimes wish they could've been portrayed a little differently.
