i have a theory. what if king leopold became the dark one?

i just kept thinking over and over again what he would be like if he had magic and i also thought "oh dear god. what if there will be a twist and king leopold was to kill rumple?" i dont even wanna think about what he would be like with magic but at the same time i thought it might be a cool storyline.
