I prefer the alternate version over the original version because it gives a darker impression. Troy's pipes have taken a bit too much over on the original version... I admit I'm not a huge fan of Troy's pipes. But the alternate version I enjoy very much! It kinda sounds like a score for some epic movie. With this Tuomas has come a step closer to his original idea with Nightwish, and I like that!

I'm also a huge fan of Floor's previous work, and I really really hope we get all spectres of her amazing voice. I also hope for songs that sound kinda like the ones back from Oceanborn, Century Child and Once. More heavy songs. Not a big fan of Troy's pipes to be honest. I hope they're not in every single song.

I have to listen to the alternative still. I also really loved the Oceanborn era.
