I think it would be hard for him to stay there now that his wife has died. I would think he would need to be with his kids now. If they were going to write him off, this would be the time to do it. I have not heard of that though....has anyone else?

I don't know where this is going tbh, but I hope Vance does stay long-term. I actually do like him and his leadership skills. He may be hard-boiled but he has to be given his job. And I think Vance is one of the people who has kept that dirt-bag Sec Nav from picking his teeth with Gibbs' team on numerous occasions. Vance genuinely cares for Gibbs and the team and he has shown that before. I hope Vance stays because he's consistent.

That is true. He has kept the Secretary of the Navy at a distance when need be. I do not like that sneaky guy. He put tony undercover for his own selfish reasons without caring one bit about tony or any of the agents. I agree that he cares for Gibbs underneath all the tension they have between them. I said previously that I thought differently but I actually do agree now that I have really thought About it. So I have no clue where all this is going either.....it was a shock. I wonder if anyone has heard anything?

I think Vance is going to stay due to the actor, but I think he might consider leaving and I think Jackie's death is going to have a big affect on him, more then anything at all. :( Even though I like Jenny better, I like Vance I guess and don't want someone else.
