At least Elizabeth Taylor is a decently okay actress who's managed to give good performances in certain films. Emmy Rossum is an absolutely HORRIBLE actress.
The fact that her voice in Phantom of the Opera is capable of causing deafness doesn't help.
Either Julia Stiles for The Prince and Me or Anne Hathaway for either The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement or Ella Enchanted should've been nominated at the Golden Globes that year instead. THOSE were actual good comedy/musical performances.
As for Elizabeth, she didn't even deserve to get NOMINATED for the Oscar that year, let alone win! Marilyn Monroe should've been nominated that year instead for her amazing performance in Let's Make Love, and either Shirley MacLaine (The Apartment) or Deborah Kerr (The Sundowners) should've been the actual winner.
100% undeserved. Both of these.
