The Victory Tour was the biggest and final buổi hòa nhạc tour of the United States and Canada bởi The Jacksons. Beginning July 6, 1984, and ending on December 9 of that year, the tour included 55 concerts to an audience of approximately 2 million. It was named after the newly released Jacksons' album Victory although none of the album's songs appear on the tour's set danh sách (Marlon confirmed it was because Michael refused to rehearse hoặc perform them). The tour reportedly grossed approximately $75 million and set a new record for the then-largest grossing tour. The 1984 Victory Tour showcased Michael's single decorated glove, black sequined áo khoác and moonwalk, which captivated audiences around the world early in 1983, just about a năm prior.
Following a controversy with the way tickets were purchased, Michael Jackson donated his proceeds (approx. $5 million) from the tour to three charities, including the T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia and Cancer Research, The United Negro College Fund, and Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.
The set danh sách included songs from the Jacksons albums Destiny and Triumph. Despite the name of the tour, the Victory album was not represented. There were also songs on the danh sách from Jermaine's and Michael's solo careers. Songs from Michael's albums Off the tường and Thriller were both represented. The set danh sách did not include "Thriller" itself.
Michael sang all the lead vocals, except for a medley of Jermaine's solo hits.
Eddie van Halen made at least one special guest appearance, doing the "Beat It" đàn ghi ta, guitar solo.
Jermaine sometimes performed the song "Dynamite" during his solo medley in place of the usual "You Like Me Don't You."
Aside from a few months in mid-1975, the Victory Tour era marked the only time that all six Jackson brothers worked together at the same time as a band. Jackie Jackson missed most of the tour because of a leg injury. That injury was described at the time as a knee injury incurred during strenuous rehearsals. Margaret Maldonado (the mother of two of Jermaine Jackson's children) has alleged that Jackie in fact broke his leg in an automobile accident: his first wife Enid ran him over in a parking lot after catching him with another woman. (That other woman was a then-obscure dancer and singer named Paula Abdul, who kept her job as the Victory Tour's choreographer.) In any case, Jackie made a speedy recovery and was able to rejoin his brothers on stage for the last portion of the tour.
Shortly after the tour ended, Michael and Marlon left the group to start their own solo careers without The Jacksons.

Eddie: All bạn gotta do is sing. Michael Jackson who can sing. And is a good looking guy. But he ain’t the most masculine fellow in the world. That’s Michael’s hook, his sensitivity. Women be saying, “Michael’s just so sensitive.” They eat that **** up. Mike know too, he be usin’ women in concerts. I seen Mike onstage in the audience, “Is it alright if I come down and sing this song to you?” Then if bạn don’t scream [enough during the show], Mike’ll get real sensitive and cry on yo’ ass.
bạn hear that record “She’s Out Of My Life”? Michael goes, (starts singing) “So I’ve learned that tình yêu is not posession and I’ve learned that tình yêu won’t wait and I’ve learned that tình yêu needs expression but I learned too (voice cracks) late.” (breaks into sobs)
Tito, get some a tissue. Jermaine, stop teasing.

Ok we need to stop and relize about what we're doing here. There is altot of people who will pretend to be a fan. Of a famouse person, just to make friends. But really we don't have to be a fake fan. We should be Những người bạn we both have out likes and dislikes. This is NOT what Michael want us to do is fight. Fighting never ever solve anything so just STOP. Just forgive and forget this ever happend. I just do have to say this DO NOT put any rude các bình luận on other peoples post. We are not healing the world bởi fighing we're ruining it. Michael would be so upset with us if he was talking to us he will make us take a time out.
I tình yêu bạn ALL!

Presley 'didn't turn her back' on Jackson:
Michael Jackson's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley has fought back rumours that she ignored an SOS message from the 'Thriller' singer before his death.
Elvis's daughter was reported to be wracked with guilt over her dismissal of a voicemail from Jackson 2 years cách đây in which he đã đưa ý kiến he was losing control of his life.
A nguồn apparently told us Weekly: [Jackson] đã đưa ý kiến he needed [presley's] help because his life was spinning out of control and begged her to call him But she never did. She kept saying ''I should've done something'' and blames herself.
Presley's spokesperson dismissed the reports as rubbish saying: ''I don't believe this is true''
