A giant statue of Egyptian goddess Taweret existed on the Island since at least the 1800s. Jacob lived under the statue for an unknown amount of time, even after its partial demolition sometime before 1974. bởi 2004, only the left bắp chân and foot remained. The statue has only four toes on each foot. The statue was confirmed bởi ABC to depict Taweret, and has since been confirmed again bởi the solution to a puzzle in the May 2009 issue of Wired magazine, which was edited bởi Mất tích co-creator J.J.
