when Miles asks why he picked LaFleur, Sawyer says "its creole, I improvised" link This way he has a fake french sounding name, and it also covers for his southern american accent.
lets see.....its not his real name....so its a fake name. and its french. that makes it a french, fake name. and yes la fleur means "the flower" Im candian i grew up learning french in school. but that isnt why he picked the name. if people just listen to what is đã đưa ý kiến in the show, it is all explained.

IMO they picked this particular name because Lafleur-theflower had some significance in the LaFleur ep. bạn know, that yellow hoa - the symbol of Suliet love. I also think that they may have picked this name for Sawyer, in order to intrigue the những người hâm mộ with the name of the ep. Because no-one could actually think that the name of this episode could refer to Sawyer's name.

I totally agree. I thought "La Fleaur" had something to do with the Orchid station, lol. I guess "LaFleaur" was the only name Sawyer could think up off the hàng đầu, đầu trang of his head. Funny, I didn't think he spoke French! LOL – Liên minh huyền thoại
