She wasn't 'in' club kid she was a club kid. She didn't drink and she didn't take drugs; she knew people who did and saw them die from it.

She was brought up well, and to this day doesn't drink alcohol. She has never done drugs.

neither do I, seriously, but then I made some wiki researches about Club Kid and she was one of Club Kid (so acutally she was INClub Kid ), and I read about those guys using drugs,alcohol and also about a guy that killed another one of the Club Kid, and I was worried that since LE was part of that club too, she could have done something as bad as those things, so I got scared as hell and needed someone to take me out of that thought...

this is one of my favorite things about her, she is such an amazing role model. :)

She wasn't in a 'club' they called them The ClubKids because they went to clubs and dressed krazy, and became famous for it.

The killing of Angel Melendez by Michael Alig came later and by then she wasn't part of the Club Kid world anymore. By then, she was leaving already (as she said in a few interviews).

The killing happened around 1996 and by then she was seriously pursuing her acting career. By this time, she's done her Seinfeld('93) appearance and appeared on the same year in Ned and Stacy('96). She was gone from the Club scene by this time. Being a Club Kid was a stepping stone of sorts for what she wanted to do: be an actor.

As for drugs and alcohol:

Lisa likes the idea of acting in the film, but the image of Edie and the old Warhol Factory crowd makes her nervous.

"I'm very driven," she says. "I don't like drinking or drugs. Occasionally, I'll have a wine spritzer. I walk into Limelight and there's a Tab waiting. That's a nice feeling."

Pretty much she was just a kid having fun. She wasn't out to get killed so no drugs, no drinking. She knew better than that.

You never know with Lisa. I bet she slipped up at least once during her club kid days. Even now I bet she would slip a few if the conditions were appropriate.
