I think both, but their connection was what drawn me to them in the first place. At different points of their lives it was made clear that they cannot do without each other even if they try. I think this kind of a connection is really unique and special.

This is so hard to choose. Yeah connection is more important I suppose. But their depth is AMAZING!!! That's why their one of the few couples I ship. I'm not a mushy 'aww they're such a cute couple' person. It's hard for me to like a cheesy couple. & while I admit that LP has had their cheesy moments. Their depth overshadows it 1,000,000,000 times!! I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at that. <333

I think they definitely have a great connection in many of the seasons (especially seasons 1,4, and 5). But I don't really see them as a deep couple.

^^ It something that's so subjective. I wouldn't call any OTH couples REALLY deep (maybe Keith & Karen in season 3? I dont know)- I think every couple has some deep and meaningful moments, but overall I just don't feel it when I see them together. I could go into details about scenes in which I just feel like it's so forced and attempting to be deep but not achieving it... but this pick is supposed to be positive and it's just a matter of opinion so I wouldn't be proving a point.

I do think they have a great connection and you can tell how much they care for one another, are drawn to one another, and always come back to one another. As I said before...ESPECIALLY in seasons 1,4, and 5 I see it the most.
