I honesly love the pair of ClairexLeon! Ada is a bitch! Sorry to Ada fans! :)
Leon and Ada were only with each other for only a few minutes or hours at the most in RE2.
6 years go by of these two of not seeing or hearing from each other at all. In RE4 they are once again with each other for a short time. The fact that they got into a fight and are ready to kill each other doesn't say a whole lot for them as a couple.
7 years go by until 2011, but she just leaves him to fight for himself again. As for what was said in Behind the Scenes of RE: Damnation… keep in mind the writer knew pretty much knew nothing about the series going into the project, and his comment about the line is his own fucking head-canon. Capcom wouldn't let him write any Leon and Ada romance, so he just added in that line to satisfy himself.
2 years later in 2013 and it's the same thing all over again.
Ada has nothing in common with Leon. She already had a boyfriend, John, and she really didn’t care that he died... she got over him pretty quickly. She just left Leon when he got shot, used him twice to retrieve a sample of the G-virus and the Las Plagas. She withheld the truth from him up until her so-called "death", she still didn't tell him the truth in RE4 and openly admits that he's an asset in one of her reports and she just leaves him at the end. She does the same thing in RE: Damnation. Just to leave him there just so she can get the virus… in RE6 Leon is asked if they could trust Ada he said that it was not an easy question to answer. Wow... the love those two have...
When Helena tells him to go after Ada, he refuses and insists they stick together. It seems like Leon is getting tired of Ada's constant bullshit. This whole cat and mouse game between them has played out.
With Leon and Claire in Degeneration, there are so many little things that go on between. Like when they first meet up and they hold hands until the rest of the group walks over and interrupts. The way they defend each other when the senator tries to question their escape plans (and notice that Leon immediately jumps to Claire's defense when the senator tries to sass her but says absolutely nothing when the senator and Angela are arguing about Curtis).
The way they hold hands again after Claire protects Rani; the way Claire smiles at him and the way he pulls her in a bit too close after helping her up always gets me. I love that he takes the time to talk to her and tell her what a good person she is and how she’s not wrong for doing what she thought was right (though really creeped out by Angela eavesdropping outside the tent). Then there’s his concern when her leg his hurt, the way she winks at him when the elevator door is closing and how he lets out this big sigh after she can’t see him anymore because in truth he’s nervous about letting her go on her own but he doesn’t want her to see him worry.
When Claire is in the facility, trying to figure out what to do and she says
“I know what Leon would do.”
There the ones who know each and of course at the end of the movie when Leon humors Angela, only to tell Claire that what she’s up to is more important to him. I mean, they leave Angela standing on a cliff to grieve over her horrible fashion sense (and possibly the death of her brother) and then Leon is offering Claire a lift and they are so flirty and cute here and the way they look at each other... Leon and Ada have had nothing like that at all.
When you have two people that have nothing in common and have two completely different agendas… what the hell do you think is going to happen??? When you have one character saying
"I’m gonna scrub this virus from the face of the earth"
and the other collecting dangerous virus samples for an unknown company... something that can cost many lives later on... Ada being ladled as a traitor is accurate.
"i meant for them to be together is physically. On the outside"
... Well... I hate to tell you but there's far, far more to a relationship between two people than physically on the outside and that alone is not "who is much better for Leon"... what a piss poor excuse to use at trying to find something or anything to make Leon and Ada seem believable...
sincerely, Leon Kennedy
Nobody here who votes for "Ada Wrong (traitor)" is providing any proof to there so-called claims since they're ignoring the events from the games (what a shock). Don't you people ever get tried of repeating yourselves????

Exaggeration or just flat out lying is all they have.
Sad but true
Ada Wong is a spy and mysterious character, and I love that.
RE2, RE4 and RE6 have proven that they have feelings for each other after all the years. Have proven that Ada is not bad at all. Actually, she always is helping Leon in the games; it seems like Leon makes Ada a better person in the case if she is really a bad one. But in reality, we don't have a idea what are her real purposes, but the fact that she is always helping him, prove that she truly has feelings for him but there is something bigger behind that prevents her from being with him. Their relationship it's complicated for that reason, and that's what makes it so unique and intriguing.
The story of the game itself always turns to Leon and Ada to be together, not Claire and Leon. Even in the movie "Degeneration", they put Angela to Leon, not Claire - again they demonstrated that their relationship it's just like good friends, like partners. In "Damnation" we have Leon x Ada again, and the screenwriter Shotaru Suga said that Leon and Ada meets during the events of RE5 (off-screen, romantic encounter). So, maybe they have been meeting other times too.
The Leon x Claire fans are the blind ones, seriously. Leon x Claire couple it would be boring, compared, really. If you want a typical love story, we already have Chris and Jill. And for those who say that Leon and Ada are very opposite... are you guys heard about that opposites attract?
Just because you want to see it in that way, it will not gonna change it.
The story itself tell us: the real couple is Leon and Ada. Deal with it.
Claire he cares for Ada she important but not in a love way in a another way and after RE6 you can see he use to have enough from Ada she's playing around all times...
Hideki: (original director of RE2) "You'll question Ada's motives, her true intention."
Ampo: "But young Leon is shut down with a kiss."
Hideki: "Yeah, he is easy to control."

"We've also tried to deepen the narrative experience and the relationships between not only Leon and Claire, but all of the game's characters, in order to increase the dramatic tension."

"Extremely unpopular opinion, but Leon x Ada is toxic and is romanticized for its emotionally abusive traits. After he thought she was dead, he had suicidal thoughts, but pushed them aside because he wanted to get Sherry out of raccoon city. She then shows back up in his life, after ghosting him for 6 years, she decides to play a cat and mouse game with him and the entire fandom swoons at this. If the shoe were on the other foot, people would be up in arms calling their relationship misogynistic."

In the RE4 Remake, Leon confides in Ada about how he has changed along with the world following the destruction of Raccoon City. He explains that saving one life often results in the deaths of hundreds more, and he asks Ada if she has changed as well or if she continues to use him for her own agenda, like she did six years ago. However, Ada gives no answer and leaves Leon as he pilots the boat to the docking point. Ada then tells Leon to leave Ashley behind, despite the fact that the whole reason why he's even there.
Ada: "Leave the girl. She's lost no matter what."
Leon: "You think I'm gonna give up that easy."
Leon/Claire are a believable couple and I base that on their personalities, their adult mature attitudes on how they were able to get along with each other right off the bat, the chemistry they had, and the same goals and beliefs they share. . Leon had none of that with Ada.

Stating facts, what actually happens in the games, is not being anti-Ada, it's simply stating the truth, deal with it...
