After a rough couple of years, Justin Bieber is ready to leave the pranks and bad boy antics behind and focus on his music again. From making multiple appearances on

to braving a Comedy Central roast, Justin is making a serious effort to show fans he\'s a changed guy. And now, the singer is getting really

"I was rebelling a little bit," Justin explained of his bad boy antics. "I was getting cockier and cockier. I didn\'t have people to check me."

While he admits he didn\'t always have the best role models, he\'s owning up to his mistakes — and proving his very public apology tour is much more than just a publicity stunt.

"I looked back and I was disappointed in myself," he said. "You have to own up to the mistakes. You have to say, \'I\'m sorry if I\'ve let you down.\'"

Despite the doubters, Justin\'s committed to showing everyone he\'s so much more than a few bad choices he\'s made in the past.

"I always want to be honest and let people know that those mistakes aren\'t who I am. Who I am is someone who really cares about people."
