End of Chapter 5
***Alice's POV***

I tried to look away, to ignore it all but I couldn't..I couldn't look away from the destruction, my anxiety and anger controlling my emotions. I knew that my family was relying on me, that they were waiting for me to see if I could find another way out..but I couldn't..we would all die and it would be my fault. I knew that Jasper was trying to help me with the emotions, I could still feel his hands on mine and it did help a little to know he was there but didn't help me focus..didn't help me find what we were looking for.

I was about to end my search, my entire body was starting to shake from the things I was seeing..I was about to open my eyes and see what was happening now..not what will hoặc could happen when I felt a small tiny hand on my arm. I knew instantly that it was Tallulah, that she was doing something with her ability to try and help.

"I don't know if this will work." Tallulah's voice whispered in my head. "But I think this may be the only way to find an escape. Use my visions along with yours, we must get out."

I knew that her words were true and that somehow she was helping me be stronger..helping me look for the escape that we could all use to get out.

Chapter 6
***Alice's POV***

I didn't want to look again, I just wanted to retract back inside myself, run away from everything and everyone..but Tallulah's voice was there encouraging me.

"Alice," Her voice whispered. "We can do this together. I..no we can not let them get us. I can't go back, I can't let this happen to bạn all."

And with that whisper I felt her push, her visions joined mine and I saw things as she had. I saw old memories, things I couldn't hoặc didn't want to understand. I somehow knew that she was looking for the vision she had at the same time I had mine.

"Ah-ha." She whispered as the vision began.

It was almost the same as mine, with the Volturi rushing my family...the fighting, the horrible sounds of destruction, and Caius' laughter as my family was destroyed.

"Alice, we need to look closer."

"Closer how?" I asked, and had a brief một giây to wonder if I was saying all this out loud.

"We need to figure out which way they came at us...the direction."

I took a deep breath as we watched both of our visions overlap. I saw Felix running at the front of the group, the smile on his face was disturbing enough that I wanted to look away.

"Be strong Alice. This hasn't happened yet." Tallulah encouraged.

"This hasn't happened yet." I reminded myself over and over again as we stood against one of the outside walls and watched as my family was attacked.

I looked around the room, which was thêm of a corridor..a central area then a room. It was the place where five different walkways came together. I realized that this was almost like a set up, that we had been led to the perfect place for an ambush. I was going to say something about it when I felt..sensed that Tallulah was trying to hiển thị me something.

"Alice!" She said, excitement in her voice. "That way!!"

I looked in the direction she was hiển thị me and saw that it was the only one without any movement. I wanted to explore that tunnel more, wanted to wait to see if anyone was coming out of it but Tallulah was getting anxious and wanted to get moving..and so did I. I just hoped and prayed that this wasn't a trap.
