That's a hard choice I picked both but I'm more fond of his earlier work. He's got some great stuff tho he released while with her. For instance Imagine which is like the song he's known for. Before I was old enuff to get into the beatles his later image was the only way I knew him seeing as I was born a long time after the 60's and his death. It shocked me to see him young and with the beatles. I was like "whoa! That's John Lennon no way"

I think without only because The Beatles were huge and I dont think he did better with her than he did with the other fabs.

Beatlesxoxo, I had the same reaction when I found out who John Lennon was before Yoko. I remember watching something about him on tv when I was in 2nd grade I believe, and they kept showing him when he was young and I remember thinking he was cute, then they showed him as he got older and I was like, "No way! That's the same guy!". It totally blew my mind.

Without. I really, really don't like Yoko.

I don't like Yoko (really, really don't like her), but during that time in his life he went through something called "Scream Therapy" and resolved a lot of his childhood issues. That was really evident in a lot of his songs. Although I don't feel like it was directly related to Yoko, that period in his life produced a lot of really powerful songs.

I respect their relationship but I couldn't stand her singing.John was better with the Beatles

Sorry but John was much better on his own. Yoko has no talent for music and that's that. Hate to say it but its true.
