Why is Jesus almost always potrayed as white?

Well Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in the nation Israel and seeing that all israelis are whites they made Jesus white.I'm black too. He came to renew the sins of the then sinners and gentiles but as Christ gave the commission for the disciples to preach to all the nations thats how Thiên chúa giáo spred. Jesus was a Jew. At that time I would think that he would have had a bit darker complexion, simular to the arabs. He's a Jew. He was born in a region of people of that race so that's the (external) race that God gave to him.

It maybe how the European Christians in the Middle Ages portrayed him. But I, and others, believe that since he is a Jew, he most likely doesn't have light skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes, he probably has darker skin, hair, and eyes.
