Dean as just a name is iconic in itself. It has a tough, rebellious, cool guy swagger mystic feeling to it thanks to James Dean. But Jensen Ackles IS Dean Winchester so i'd have to go with Jensen Ackles sounding better! Two for the price of one! But regardless sound awesome! Plus the name Jensen is really unique. How many other guys can you name that have this as their first name? I can't think of any. Hence, Jensen Ackles sounding better because he is one of a kind!

Both really. They sound equally cool and unique, and each fits the person. Even though technically they are the same person, Dean Winchester fits the character, while Jensen Ackles fits the man.
