It has just been confirmed that IU will be starring opposite actor Lee Joonki in a new drama.

Entitled "Scarlet Heart", the new drama is the Korean version of a famous Chinese ti vi series, which in turn was based on a book of the same title.

The drama is a romantic fantaisie in which a 21st century woman is sent back to a historical time period and is forced to adjust to a comparatively primative lifestyle.

The Chinese version of the drama was immensely được ưa chuộng all over Asia, resulting in high anticipation for the Korean version.
