Gin Ichimaru (市丸 ギン) was the Captain of the 3rd Division of the Gotei 13 until he betrayed Soul Society, alongside Sōsuke Aizen and Kaname Tōsen. His lieutenant was Izuru Kira. Although gin, rượu gin is also a major antagonist of the series, he does provide a fair amount of amusement throughout the series, usually through ngẫu nhiên appearances at the end of most episodes of the Arrancar, Hueco Mundo, Captain Amagai, and Fake Karakura arcs, where he outlines various facts about the Arrancar.
