Chapter 16: Memories
Three weeks later
Hugh sat in his study, holding the latest script in his hands, not really giving it a look. He was too immersed in his thought. The last three weeks had been, to say the least, like hell. He and Lisa avoided each other as much as possible, starting with him moving to the guest bedroom. He wondered what that reminded him of.
Right, the times when they still hadn't been a couple and he had been to one who needed to get fixed.
Now it was the other way round, she stayed in the master bedroom while he hid in the guest room.
The only time they bumped into each other was on the set. That had been thêm than awkward.
House and Cuddy were together, solving problems of their own, and there they were, struggling to keep focused while shooting the scene with one other.
It was a whole new experience for Hugh. He had always thought of himself as one of those actors who could work no matter what was happening.
Back in 2007 when Jo had threatened him with a divorce, he had still worked like it hadn't bothered him a bit. People called him professional. However, the truth was, it had been easy to work when the person that was distracting bạn was miles away. Now, that person was a few feet, sometimes less than inches, away from him on the set, and he was having a hard time concentrating.
What was even worse, the hiển thị staff and the cast had started noticing something wasn't right. And it all ended being completely awkward for all the people working on the set. It was amazing how things can change when the two leading actors had a problem with each other. It wasn't just some lousy Hollywood myth. That really happened.

“I'm not following you” Hugh shook his head.

“Care to explain?” Hugh frowned, again, not getting anything his son told him.

“Oh, hold on, they are coming, I better get to interview them” Ryan told Guliana as he saw Lisa and Hugh approach the interviewing area.
“Hey guys” Ryan helped Lisa climb the few stairs that were, oh so thoughtfully, leading to the interviewing area from the red carpet.
“Before I tell bạn bạn look amazing, let me say. What is going on here?” Ryan's mouth kept wide opened. Lisa looked at Hugh, the same look they've had on their faces every time they did an interview.
“Why don't bạn tell him?” Lisa giggled, motioning to Hugh to start talking.

“No, seriously, guys, what's going on?” Ryan asked with his infamous smile, the one that made him millions and threw so many women to their knees.

“Valentino... It's surprising how bạn can get an awesome dress, when Beyoncé isn't standing in the row before you. Take that Beyonce! bạn don't do prime time” They all three laughed. In the corner of the screen, in a small 'box',you could see other TV stars on the red carpet.
“Back to bạn two guys...” Ryan motioned with his hand to Hugh.
“Oh... right... Well, we're together” Hugh đã đưa ý kiến a bit slowly. Lisa beamed at his words.

“I'm so wining this!” he laughed with delight.
