She felt somewhat embarrassed and scared at the same time to be asking her boss if she could leave. There was only one other time she acted this way, and that’s when her grandmother from her father’s side that she was very close to had passed away. That was understandable. This was not.
“Lisa, bạn can’t be serious,” he said, still upset that she mentioned it, even though he was expecting it. “I’m up to my ears in script changes here, most of which involve you. Not to mention you’re on set in five phút with Hugh.”
“I can’t be with Hugh right now.” Another tear fell from her eye. They were starting to annoy her. She brushed it away furiously, disregarding smudging her makeup in the process.

There was really nothing Lisa could do at this point. She just swallowed the lump in her throat and headed back to her dressing room to fix the makeup that her tears destroyed. What really pissed her off was how she could still have feelings for someone that đã đưa ý kiến those things to her. Lisa never held grudges. She was always forgiving and letting things slide. That’s where she was in trouble. She thought she would have a chance with Hugh. They’ve become so close lately that she thought maybe he would want to become more.

She took his casual glance as a look and his arm around the small of her back as a flirt. It was her mistake. But she never came onto him. She was always so good about that, which is why Hugh was surprised she was angry with him. He didn’t know she had feelings for him. She waited for him to make the first move.
Now she wasn’t sure she knew him anymore. Okay, so the Huli thing is getting a little out of control and Jo is receiving letters from những người hâm mộ saying she should hit the road and make someone else’s life miserable while Hugh gets with Lisa. Lisa felt sorry for Jo, but that doesn’t give Hugh a reason to badmouth her so the entire world could hear! She never did anything to deserve that. She was glad to find her dressing room empty when she got back there. It’s a good thing she kept her head down because the mascara and eyeliner caused her tears to run black trails instead of clear.
The director popped his head in and told her to come set up when she was finished. Lisa had no choice but to okay it. She fixed herself up and joined the rest of the cast, being sure to stay her distance away from Hugh, but making it not look so obvious.
When David came out, explaining the tiếp theo scene, which took place in Cuddy’s office, everyone got into position. It was just a regular scene that involved the usual banter between House and Cuddy, but Lisa couldn’t handle even that. Something like this has never happened to her. She never let her body control her like this and it was certainly winning.
“Lisa, it’s your part,” Hugh said, wondering why she was sitting there looking clueless.
