“Hey! Where are you?” she asked the moment she got in his house. The door was open, which was really strange. How could Hugh, the famous TV ngôi sao that was not so rarely chased bởi paparazzi, leave the front door open. And why in the hell was she using them? She should have used the back door, but the problem was, she really didn’t know where they were.
She left her bag and took of her shoes in the hall. She then searched for the áo, áo khoác hanger and find it quickly after. Hugh still wasn’t replying to her question. Where in the hell had he been?
She wandered through his house, wanted to use the opportunity she suddenly had. Other times when she visited his house, she couldn’t ever get to tìm kiếm his place and that bothered her. She was either with someone from the cast, hoặc there was some party. Hugh just had to throw them at his place, God knew why. So in the end, she somehow didn’t manage to thoroughly go through his place.
Looking around the living room she realized something was missing, hoặc were?

Where were all those pictures of Hugh and his family? There were some framed photographs on the walls, but those were either pictures of Rebecca, Billy and Charlie alone, hoặc them together with Hugh. Where were the photographs from his wedding ngày and all those other pictures of his family, in full? Why was the figure Hugh’s wife gave him for their anniversary and that was standing bởi Hugh’s yêu thích ghế bành suddenly missing? Did someone break in? And why did it take so long for Hugh to reply to her question?
“Hugh? Where are you?” she asked again, stopping whatever she was doing to wait for his reply. Nothing.
She moved to the dining room, the room where she’d sit with him eating something she brought from her trang chủ because Hugh’s refrigerator contained only dairy products and meat, him always picking on her for being a vegetarian, her picking on him on the lack of cooking skill he had and always ending up making himself mac and cheese, them just chatting about their day, the room somehow just for them.
She moved closer to the wooden bàn and realized there was something on it. As she finally made it to the table, she realized it was fully covered with some papers. She took a closer look and realized all those papers were from court. What was going on there? She couldn’t help but think of different scenarios explaining all that mess.
She browsed through some of the papers on the hàng đầu, đầu trang and finally got her answer.
Hugh was getting a divorce. That explained everything, the lack of his wife’s pictures and the sudden disappearance of the mentioned figure. It explained everything but the fact why was Hugh suddenly getting a divorce and thêm importantly, why in hell hadn’t Hugh mentioned anything about it.
