Here's chapter 1 of my first Wilteen fanfic! Obviously, they haven't had a lot of scenes together yet so I couldn't play on their reactions to each other like in Huddy fanfics etc but I gave it a shot! Enjoy! =D


The days went bởi slowly and painfully for a certain Dr James Wilson since the passing of his girlfriend, Dr Amber Volakis, dubbed CTB bởi House. He loved her so much and couldn’t find it in his tim, trái tim to let the memory go. She broke his pattern. She was the first person he loved because of who she was, well, she certainly wasn’t needy. She didn’t need someone bởi her side, but she did want Wilson. He never realised how much he needed her until the ngày she died. He blamed House for everything, not because he felt that her death was his fault, but because he always seemed responsible for every failed relationship he had. All three of his ex-wives, all his past girlfriends, and now, Amber, the one person he felt something deeper with. It wasn’t as superficial as all of his trước đó relationships, simply because she broke the pattern. The only person he can blame it on is House, whether it was his fault hoặc not. When he was on leave for two months, he had many visits from his colleagues, his friends. Most phoned and he could understand that they were busy but sometimes he could have done with the company whether they understood hoặc not. One person who had visited him recently, and for the first time, was Dr Remy Hadley. She seemed to understand his pain. She also seemed to understand what it was like dying, the reason he never knew, but she reassured him that Amber may have died young, but she was lucky to be loved bởi someone like him. She was lucky to get a chance to spend time with someone she loved, because many others don’t get that chance. He often questioned how she could understand everything he’s going through, but she changed the subject not wanting to burden him with issues that weren’t his. He always had that concerned look on his face, which she admittedly found quite adorable, yet she didn’t want to tell him, knowing how much of a caring person he is, and how much he’ll worry about her, even though they are nothing to each other. A part of her did want to tell him though, simply because she could trust him, and she wanted to know that she wasn’t alone in this.

One ngày though, she told him, thêm because she had to than she needed to but even then she wasn’t expecting the reaction she got from him. It was the ngày she walked into his office in tears because she had had enough of House. She became his damsel in distress and he had to do something to make her feel better. He listened to her intently while she soaked his áo sơ mi with her tears complaining about House. He kept his arm around her the whole time, adding in a few of his các bình luận whenever he could, reassuring her that this was House, and he won’t change but if she ever needed to get away from it all, she can come to him anytime and just vent. He’ll listen. She wasn’t expecting him to do what he did when she looked up at him though. He gently wiped away her few remaining tears with the back of his hand before brushing his lips against hers softly. Initially she gave in but then she backed away realising she couldn’t do this to him.

‘I can’t James, I can’t do this...’

‘Why? Why not? It’s not against the law, and who cares what House thinks...’

‘I don’t care about House! I just can’t do this to you.’

‘Can’t do what? Remy, tell me...’

‘I have Huntington’s.’

‘Is that supposed change anything’

He stood up and walked up to where she was standing right bởi his door. She just stared at him thinking Is he stupid? What the hell is wrong with him? Does he really want another dying girlfriend? hoặc does he really like me? No, that can’t be it, I’m just the rebound. He just needs someone to fill up the space. He doesn’t really want me. I don’t care if the look in his eyes says he does.

‘What...James, what are bạn doing?’

She gave into him, putting her arms around his neck to pull him in closer. His hands rested comfortably on her waist.
