How did bạn start watching hoặc find Hetalia?

Mine's kind of a long story. A friend of mine introduced me to it. At first I was like, "Alright, this seems good.." Then, after the video was done, I was stoked and all into it. After that, I started getting thêm into it bởi đọc fanfics and watching video and all that.

My first Hetalia encounter was a Hetalia Mitsudomoe opening. People were talking about it in the comments. I thought it was a bad hiển thị because of Roman Empire. I didn't watch it until January 2013.

I saw Hetalia on one of the Funimation thingys and dissed it off. I was like "Heck no I ain't gonna watch this". But I kept seeing Hetalia everywhere and I was like "People like this?" But I still continued with my "You ain't gonna be catching me watching it".
I had assumed that Hetalia was an older anime based on military hoặc something I didn't know it was a comedy.

A friend of mine actually two recommended it to me. My friend showed me Italy (I had thought he was France hoặc something for quite a while). She told me it was hilarious. I putted it off my mind though. Then on my brothers laptop I saw a Hetaloid video. I was like "Hetaloid?" ((Yes I hate vocaloid (well just Miku). Hatsune miku is not an anime character she is a singer computer thingy and the fact she is an biểu tượng of anime is almost ridiculous. I rather have an anime character be well known for anime.)) Well anyways I was like Heta=HETAlia.
I was bored that summer. FMA ended. I was depressed. School sucked. My family is crap. I tried Hetalia. And it was the awesomest thing ever. Well the first episode I saw was the extra with the Nordics so i didn't get it. I mean who would? If bạn never started Hetalia before of course it would be boring. But then I saw a paint it white clip and it was hilarious. Then I watched other episodes and it was hilarious. I fell in tình yêu and today its all I think about. bởi the way I started Hetalia only last year. 1 năm and what 4 months ago. Its not new to me but I'm not an old người hâm mộ either.

My friends. They kept talking about it and telling me to watch.they kept saying it was the best hiển thị on earth...and now I know it is.😃

This is a very fangirl answer but...I found it through yaoi.
Here's the story...

I was on deviantart looking up another Yaoi I like (JeffxNess from EarthBound) and I found a picture. Nhật Bản fanart looks waaaayy too similar to Ness and America looks just like the Jeff fanart, so naturally I would misunderstand. The picture was of Nhật Bản and America and Nhật Bản was wearing America's máy bay ném bom jacket....ONLY his máy bay ném bom áo khoác ><

I scrolled through the các bình luận and everyone was saying "Japan, where's bạn pants! *giggle*" and I was all like "Whaaaaaaa...." So I decided to research AmericaxJapan, and found Hetalia. Long story short, I became obsessed. x3 I mean come on! It's History within an anime! Best of both worlds!

So yeah. That's how I found it.

I was introduced to Hetalia bởi my older sister. The one subject I was always struggling with was history. Mostly because I though it was super boring. She saw me struggling and showed me Hetalia. Now I need to keep my mouth shut during history class.

Through fanfictions. I was seeing through some author's works and I noticed one of them being something about WWII. Being the history freak that I am I instantly went to check it out, Wasn't disappointed :3

Sadly,I wasn't curious enough! I started watching my first Hetalia episodes this year,around March,and couldn't stop laughing,getting very attached to each character. I was really alone and sad, and this anime really helped me get better :)

My closest friend introduced it to me. She knew I liked World History and culture so she thought it would be an enjoyable series for me. At first I was extremely confused when watching it but later on I got used to it XD And now it's my yêu thích series~ ^ ^ Now I can't thank her enough because Hetalia has really helped me in a lot of ways. I'm so happy I got into it =)

I found a video where Todd Haberkorn does the voices of Death The Kid and Italy. At first I was like "Dafuq is Hetalia? It's probably some dumb hiển thị about history."

(flashback from 2 years ago) I was looking for Gintama âm nhạc video then I saw these Fukkiretta thing (or is that how bạn spell it) on the panel of suggested vids. I got curious so I checked it out. And there among the các bình luận I came to know that it’s actually a series called Hetalia. I googled for it. One time I was bored. I was looking for anything amusing without the guilt of spending too much time on “academically unrelated” entertainment. And so I remembered once again this Hetalia and everything followed. Now, I’m right here in this fandom.

I'm always absolutely adored anime, as well as social studies. I've heard of Hetalia, but had many other anime to complete at the time. When I went to a anime Club in my area, everyone absolutely loved Hetalia, and I decided to check it out and I instantly fell in tình yêu with the show, everything about it...and one character in particular; America.

I had this assignment in history to look up things for any European country, and I had chosen England. I was looking up pictures when I came across a picture of Hetalia's England. I never actually paid attention to it because I didn't know about anime then. I started watching Naruto and while looking at some other anime I saw Hetalia. It seemed interesting so I started watching it (After I started watching it I looked up pictures and saw the one of England, and realized that it was the anime that I had seen before) and absolutely loved it.

Well, it's been talked a lot here on fanpop so I decided to check it out ~

But before that, I've searched on my yêu thích voice actor, Daisuke Namikawa, and saw that he has a character called Italy. I was kind of curious, but I dismissed it anyway.

I got around to watching it though, and I didn't regret it at all.

Hmm.... Well this take me back to my childhood... Nah, maybe in early teenhood like that (LOL~ teenhood XD) I was being introduced to IB, an rpg game mad bởi a Japanese guy but I'm not gonna go there, played bởi pewdiepie(thats how I 'met' pewdiepie too) but I was thêm interested in Ib since I'm an anime freak(or I I just like the art) and I saw a video that says 'Eh, Ah, Annoying' singed bởi Norway and Iceland. I was like 'hey, aren't those country names?' So I watched it and it's kinda okay since I'm not into Hetalia stuff that time. (Btw thats how I knew Vocaloid and fell in tình yêu with it~ ♥w♥) 5 yrs later I saw a video of 'Pub and Go' sang bởi England (again confused bởi the country name and a half-sexy guy with a pair of unusual eyebrows). After a năm I still ignore it and made my first deviantArt account. After some months I saw a fanfiction about England. Curious about I read it. After some months I kinda get sucked into the Hetalia fandom but I never consider myself a Hetalian since I didn't watch the anime that time. After some days of encouragement(I'm kinda nervous when I first watched the anime because I kept đọc some fanfics that says they stalk you. LOL~ idk what's going on in my brain that time~) and began to finally fell in live with it~ And that's how I 'met' ZHE AWESOME ANIME!!! I've been drawing some fanarts about them for 3 yrs now~ And I would really tình yêu to make this fandom goes bigger ^w^

First, I knew it from friend of mine who already a người hâm mộ from long ago. And then, my sis asked (ordered) me to find the anime. And now, I'm thêm người hâm mộ of it even from my sis! HaHa!

It all started 3 years ago....
I was watching ngẫu nhiên stuff on YouTube when... BAM! I saw the first opening of Hetalia!! At first I was like, "What is this?" And then I was like, "Hahaha. This is crap."
And then, in 2012, I watched Paint It White and didn't get it. So I watched a few episodes (not in order) and STILL didn't get it. So I gave up on watching it (again).
Last năm was the năm I was DESPERATE for anime. I had already finished Ouran Highschool Host club and a few others in my '200 anime I know' list.
Then I saw all those video and hình ảnh of Hetalia online and I decided to watch it (this time from episode 1). After that I was hooked on it. I kept on bugging my Những người bạn to watch it after that (they STILL haven't watched it). Now I read all that doujinshi and stuff.

A friend first started talking about it. She thought I knew what it was, but I pretended to know what she was talking about.
So I wouldn't seem as if I was lying, I started researching on it; going on wikis, looking at pictures.
I was a bit skeptical at first but decided to watch the very first episode of it.
Refusing to laugh I went up to the part where Italy đã đưa ý kiến "PASTAAAA!!" Then, I started to like it; a little.
I watched way up to episode 3. And when Italy sang that song to Germany; I knew right there and then I was a new Hetalia fan.
