even thou the newer Flitwick looks more like his description in the book I think they should have still made him look the same even if they use a diffren't actor because its a bit silly changing what he looks like

i think that most characters dont look at all like their description in the books. but why do they change the look during the films? this is so stupid.

i thought i remember hearing that they are supposed to be two different people. one is suppposed to be fliwick and the other is like his relative or something who's in charge of the choire. i'm pretty sure the actor mentioned it in in interview either on mugglecast or pottercast.

I didn't even know who it was at first! The movies are rediculous! rawr!

It was really stupid. I agree with Skibunny109, he was SO different.

I get that Flitwick was a bit too much like a goblin in the first two but why did they have to change the entire look of the character. There's a little thing called continuity, the directors of the later films need to look it up. Anyway, when new Flitwick first appeared in PoA, he wasn't meant to be Flitwick. Alfonso Cuaron offered Warwick Davis the part of the conductor because Flitwick didn't appear in the movie and it would otherwise result in no HP for WD. After that, they decided he was Flitwick rather than a random guy which just got confusing. It looks like he got about 30 years younger and changed from a half-goblin into a very short human.

It was a little strange, but I think there was a reason behind it. I heard the Wawrick Davis was too uncomfortable in the beard, or he had a reaction to it, or something like that.
