Glad to know he realized this was a dangerous path to take. Alcohol destroys lives and families, believe me. It's as bad as heroine or cocaine. Hard drug, I tell you.
If Dan understood it, good for him - I feel very proud of him, because realizing this is sometimes very difficult. Kudos to you, man !
And no, there's no shame in living a normal life. The stars that had survived, have done so because they had realized that and stopped on time. The others had unfortunately not done so and they are dead. Some of them were very talented and it's a sad loss for us. Would have been sad to lose Dan.

It sounds like DanRad is getting it together. I'm glad to hear it, the world really doesn't need another Britney or Lindsay. =P
