Was Anyone Else REALLY Annoyed That There Was No Sorting Hat Song In Philosopher's Stone?

I believe that's a minor detail that was kept out of the film and considering that you're complaining about the order that students were being sorted was not correct, then I think you're being too nit picky. The film for the Sorcerer's Stone is probably the closest Harry Potter film to canon along with Chamber of Secrets as Chris Columbus directed it and did a fairly close book to screen translation. Get over the small, non-plot related details and just enjoy the movie. Judge the sách and films separately. Yea it sucks that the song wasn't in there either, but we got the Hogwarts song in GOF (which that film was a travesty thanks to Mike Newell) and the song wasn't necessary to the film plot anyways.
