What did bạn think about Alexandre Desplat's work with the soundtrack for Deathly Hallows Part 2?

Both scores (for Parts 1 AND 2) are gorgeous. I'm very sensitive to âm nhạc in a film. I'm a huge người hâm mộ of movie soundtracks and usually, there are several pieces I don't like. But here, Desplat did a wonderful job with both phim chiếu rạp as I tình yêu all of them ! For sure, I'll buy the CDs for both soundtracks.

I noticed for Severus' memories, that Desplat used, for the final part, when Severus hugged Lily and when he learned that Harry had to die, a track that sounded very much like a track I tình yêu to pieces from the HBP movie ("Dumbledore's Killing") bởi Nicholas Hooper - who had made a terrific job for the HBP movie too - which is itself inspired from the "Possession" piece in the OotP movie (still bởi the same N. Hooper). I tình yêu when there's a filiation, a continuity, between the phim chiếu rạp and the pieces, even if the âm nhạc has been composed bởi different composers, even if they had được trao their own sensitivity to their respective works.

it was AMAZING! i especially liked part 1's music, though (:

im very sensitive to âm nhạc also and i think he has done a wonderful job, particularly "Lily and Severus"
also, "courtyard apocolypse" was truely chilling and i loved how it fit with the scene of the trio running through the battle, seeing lavender etc
