Since the forbidden forest is full of such dangerous creatures, why aren't there any magical safeguards preventing people from going in? It would be as simple as putting an age line up so that Hagrid could still do his duties but no kids could get in.

That's a good question. But remember: Hagrid takes his classes into the forest for his COMC lessons. Also, alot of the creatures are deep inside the forest, and Dumbledore figured that you'd have to either be a complete idiot hoặc suicidal to go that deep into the forest.

And putting a guard around it, would that also keep things /in/ it? Because, there are in fact many good things. Like Firenze, the centaur that saved him.

they need gaurds for alot of other things too, mabey its just unesassary (im bad at spelling) for this. as said...no-one would go so deep into the forest just for fun. if there were gaurds it would be hard to go in to get the importent things done, the ACTUAL reason why ppl wud go so deep into the forests.

The forbidden forest is called the forbidden forest, because it is dangerous to be in between many different types of creatures. The students are warned not to go in it, but if they chose to do so then they are putting themselves into danger. The principals office at your school for example, bạn are not allowed to go in, unless bạn have permission to do so, hoặc bạn are being supervised bởi an adult.
