White Day, a holiday celebrated through Asian culture, is a ngày that revolves around romantic relationships, hoặc the lack thereof, on the 14th of March. Today, both 2PM and SNSD performed for an event called the White ngày Big Concert, and unfortunately, things did not end well.
The SNSD girls have already had thêm than their fair share of poor buổi hòa nhạc etiquette ever since the 2008 Dream Concert, but once again, things turned sour. After 2PM performed, the SNSD girls arrived on stage and found themselves as victims against an angry mob throwing glowsticks at them. And even thêm unfortunately, Seohyun, the maknae of SNSD may have been hit bởi one of them. As luck would have it, the angry concert-goers were supposedly 2PM fans, based on the green color of the light sticks.
t seems a possible reason behind this hate crime was simply the fact that reporters have often made up little scandals about possible “love lines” between 2PM and SNSD members, a notable example would be Taecyeon and Yoona. So far, these rumors have just been rumors, but những người hâm mộ have definitely gotten upset, leaving this a possible explanation, albeit a poor one. But with the ngày being White ngày and the buổi hòa nhạc being called the White ngày Big Concert, emotions may have been on the rise.
But the SNSD girls showed their professionalism when Sooyoung wrote a message after the concert, “Please take all of these glow sticks when bạn leave today~ ^^” She definitely rose above the hate of today’s event, and hopefully her words were a sign that SNSD pulled through the incident, heads held high, unscathed bởi misdirected anger.
Since SNSD has had prior bad experiences because of những người hâm mộ at the 2008 Dream Concert, their những người hâm mộ have become very protective of the girls, aware of how vulnerable they may be after this một giây incident.
But some of them have become very angry and have expressed their desire for revenge.
[SONE] We need to throw eggs at 6PM hoặc something now…
It’s so frustrating lately.
Jang Wooyoung + Tiffany scandal… Ok Taecyeon + Yoona scandal…
The crazy 6PM những người hâm mộ got so shocked with those scandals and threw glow sticks at SNSD!
The 6PM những người hâm mộ that threw glow sticks at SNSD…
I think it was too harsh to just be passive about.
It’s so disgusting, I sincerely hope that SNSD is no longer linked with 6PM anymore.
When will 6PM những người hâm mộ wake up to reality… I know that there aren’t many 6PM những người hâm mộ left…
But they’re really trying their hardest till the end, aren’t they?
We really need to hiển thị them something so they won’t do it ever again.
Maybe eggs…
Comment: We’d like to do that but we’d get the same treatment that those dogPM những người hâm mộ are getting. It’s better to just get evidence and give it to the journalists so that they will write các bài viết saying ’same crappy artist, same crappy fan.’
But not all SONES have reacted in this manner and have instead offered a suggestion for peace between the two người hâm mộ groups, although with some understandable bitterness. Even Jaebum, a name to surely stir emotions, gets brought into this event because some SNSD những người hâm mộ began accusing Jaebum những người hâm mộ for throwing the glowsticks.
[SONE] We would like to apologize.
I hope that the Bumtists (Jaebum-hottests) know what our SNSD girls had to endure at the 2008 Dream Concert. Because of that controversy, our girls cried and have become very sensitive. We also have heard a lot of unspeakable things from other fandoms. Because of that controversy, we are quick to defend the girls.
However, we hope that the nice Bumtists những người hâm mộ will be able to understand if bạn were at all hurt bởi this situation. I know that our girls are so afraid because of the pain they received at the last concert.
Today, something similar happened. As an after account, Sooyoung wrote, “Please take all of these glow sticks when bạn leave today~^^” Although she wrote it as if she didn’t care, we know that the girls are so very hurt bởi all of this. And we have also heard that our maknae was hit bởi a glow stick, although it is unconfirmed at this moment.
But really, we are so very disappointed in Hottests. We hope that Bumtists will be able to understand us at least. We would like to apologize for speaking about Jaebum, us SONES are very sorry. Please, Bumtists, don’t hate our girls but tình yêu them. We’ll be very thankful.
Conclusively, we would like to apologize one thêm time for any misunderstandings with us using Jaebum’s name.
Bumtists, fighting! Jaebum oppa, fighting! SNSD & SONE, fighting!
PS. We find it amazing that there are still Hottests left. I guess they are all personal Dirtists (Dirty-hottest) that are left now?
However, certain accounts from the White ngày Big buổi hòa nhạc have left the impression that the people throwing things at the SNSD members were not solely Jaebum fans, but 2PM fans. Regardless of who actually threw things, their actions were incredibly poor. In the best case scenario, their decision to act this way was a spur of the moment, without having thought it through. But even in that case, their actions would still be unmistakably inappropriate.
As idols, the SNSD girls already know what it’s like to face the darker, meaner side of celebrity, but it’s an utter shame that they’re forced to deal with misguided frustration directed that them while performing for những người hâm mộ who appreciate all of their efforts. Hopefully people will learn from today’s incident so these actions will not reoccur, but history does have an unfortunate habit of repeating itself.
February was definitely a tough tháng for 2PM, Jaebum, and their fans, but it looks like they’re in for another round of criticism.
