5 and 8 pretty equally.
5 was not super interesting. 8 had many interesting plots but too many to fit in a short season.

I need to do a full rewatch to figure out which season I prefer. But I don't need a rewatch to know which one I like less XD

S5 was a bit boring imo

season 8

If I had my ranking of the seasons:
S4-The best. Such a great season.
S3-Another great season. Seasons 3 and 4 were the peak.
S6-The last 2 episodes are a couple of my favorite episodes of television ever.
S1-Good start for the show.
S7-Good parts to it but a little rushed and disappointing.
S2-This season was kinda boring. Definitely my least favorite season of the first half
S5-Boring until Hardhome.
S8-Really is the weakest. No real strong episode. Sad.

I don't know, 5-7 were so terrible with raping Sansa for no reason, destroying the character of Jon "I wish I were a Stark" Snow, or making Arya act like a petty little psycho for no reason I can't really pick.
