He wouldn't freeze after seeing lucy. It would be someone supposedly dead and possibly missing the use of one arm.

Oh I meant that the hooded one was Future Lucy. Mashima used time travel in Rave Master so it's a reasonable guess =)

If not a new character then my response to her being Lucy, is why not Layla?
