I remember visiting this website once...
It was called [RUMOR] Remaining two Chinese members of EXO-M to leave SM and form a new group in China with Kris and Luhan? | allkpop.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
[RUMOR] Remaining two Chinese members of EXO-M to leave SM and form a new group in China with Kris and Luhan?
A source has divulged a rumor to allkpop about the potential departure of the remaining Chinese members in EXO-M. This source previously revealed to us that Jessica would depart Girls\' Generation and Luhan would file a suit against SM before they were made public. Because of the accuracy of his / her previous predictions, we have decided to publish this latest rumor.
SM Entertainment, there is now a rumor spreading that the remaining two Chinese members of EXO-M will follow suit, sign on with the same Chinese entertainment agency, rebrand, and form a new boy group to promote in their home country.
Allegedly, Luhan\'s negotiations with SM Entertainment fell through, which is why he made his desired nullification of the contract known to the public. However, it appears that this might not be the end of it, which would continue one hectic year for SM Entertainment.
It appears that Tao and Lay, the remaining Chinese members, may hire on the same attorneys to handle their separation with SM Entertainment, so they can rejoin the others in China to form an entirely new group. Considering Kris is on the verge of signing on with
Hwai Brothers, the three others may sign on as well, so that the Chinese agency is essentially taking artists trained and previously active with SM Entertainment and launching them as their own group in China.

This departure, however, is all dependent on whether SM Entertainment accommodates the remaining members requests, but we feel this is not so far fetched, especially due to the fact that SM Entertainment had stated, "We believe there is someone behind the scenes who is pulling the strings."
Lay so far has shown his support for Luhan\'s decision, calling him his "brother" and wanting to "stand on stage together" sometime in the future. He wrote on Weibo, "Brother goodbye! If we have the chance let\'s stand on stage together again. As brothers, I support your every decision. Good luck."
What would be your thoughts if this turned out to be true?
[EXCLUSIVE] Insiders\' perspectives into the conflict between Luhan and SM Entertainment
VIXX to hold concert in Chicago and New York in November!
Stop victimizing SM. SM do not make the idols, the idols makes SM. At the end of the day, Luhan doesn\'t owe SM jack. He made them money once and now he doesn\'t want to anymore. Whatever the reason behind Luhan\'s departure is, it\'s his decision! Why is that so hard to grasp?
I hope this news is false.I just can\'t imagine the angel Lay and cute panda Tao to do this kind of thing! If this come out to be real *touchwood*, I will surely anti the new-formed group! I myself as a Chinese, wonders why there are so many problems with the Chinese members in Korean groups, like Exo,Fiestar, Sunny Day and else
Yes exo leave all together and sign up with new company brcause sm is just selfish company that doesn\'t care about there artist sm proud of you guys for leaving though.
All those people that are hating on the leaving members are quite rash in their thinking. To say that the Chinese members used SM to get fame and then abandon ship. There is a reason why they want to leave, it\'s not like SM is known for treating their artist well. They just feel overwhelmed by SM\'s desire to make money over caring for their artist\'s health.
Then why there aren\'t much problems with the Korean members?
Hm, that\'s pretty shameless on behalf of the artists and the company who would sign them on if this were true. As the artists, you show no loyalty to those who put in the effort, resources, and time into your training to make you who you are. As the company, all you\'ve done is take someone else\'s work and used it for your own gain.
DONT SPREAD STUPID RUMORS AND SCARING THE SHIT OF ME
I dont know but they just like forgetting sm that bring them to fame and just leave sm like they dont give a shit . This peoples just dont grateful.
EXO\'s NEW PROBLEM: "They don\'t have public recognition only crazy teen girls, but mostly Chinese and Luhan & Kris fans!!"
luhan is a smart person taking the advantage from the time Jessica been kick out, of GG of course the company is in chaos, then he use that time to make this suit.
so instead he should wait until he gets rly sick and depressed to file a lawsuit?
@periwinkledomo No but i think he still not familiar at how korean work or lived.
Just because he gain a huge popularity in Korea, he can demand anything he wants.
shocked to read the news about Luhan. SM knew that so maybe thats why they were promoting SM Rookies that match during the SM Town concert, sorry for the Rookies but it was a little annoying.
I imagine myself being the owner of a company, training, investing my money to publicity and believing in a "nobody" (I mean "nobody" as someone not popular, without fame). Them when I start having profits, this person leaves and call me a bitch, go to another company and make that company have profits with the hard work that my company did. That\'s not fair at all... But I do understand those kids sides when they leave, since they will rest more and get more profits by doing it... but from the companies side, that\'s unfair. People here say shit about SM, but they forget that what made their favorite group and believed on them is this "bitch", "bad", "slavery" company. I think is kind of hypocrite from those people hate SM and still keep following their groups. But see, I don\'t agree with the way SM treats their idols, but when they sign that contract, THEY KNOW WHAT ARE THEY ARE DOING, no way they are deceived... they are not that inocents after all, they are smart enogh to USE the company for fame and them leave. So there is no inocents around here...
yep sm made a lot of profit. luhan paid back all his debt. now he\'s sick and tired and doesn\'t want to live a large majority of his working life the way he is now. when they sign that contract, they know that they will have to work hard and give up a lot. they do not know they will get sleep disorders or not paid the amount they were promised. if the company treated them well, they would have no reason to leave.
@periwinkledomo "not paid the amount they were promised"
@periwinkledomo Should have known that they might get sleep disorders, unless they think they will never make big
@NinaSch No, they are not. You should know that not EVERYTHING on the contract is accountable for and not everything on the contract is practiced. The issue was, the profits he was receiving from his personal activities was being dispersed among the members- he did not want that. I just want you to understand that the contract is not everything, idols end up doing much more than they had initially signed up for.
honestly speaking...i dont think that lay and tao will take the same path as these two members....hopefully they are not that stupid...they should wait just a few more years.. i think they can spread their wings even wider if they stayed with sm....i dont believe that can be huge in china if they left the company.....even if the combine forces with the other two who left the company...they will be famous but only to that specific places...
SM, this is what happens when you take young, foreign trainees and brand them into something big. They ride on their new-found fame, fanbase, and leave you. Time to rethink and rework your strategy.
YESSSSSSS !! PLEASE ALL OF EXO MEM LEAVE TOGETHER AND JOIN ANOTHER COMPANY AND STAND ON ONE STAGE ALL OF YOU TOGETHER AGAIN !
yeah he totally left EXO because of personal gain and to form a new group with the chinese members //sarcasm
I\'m one of the few who always supported SM... because I found logic in most of the things they do. Being an idol is just like a regular job. They invest in you, you prove yourself, work your ass off, and then you get fame and money. Simple. That\'s how it goes, everywhere, and that\'s how it should go. Singing and being on stage is a job, and you have to practice hard to get good- just because they\'re handsome doesn\'t mean they should get money for fooling around on stages, it\'s a JOB. And SM wants that JOB to be done well. Just like every other job in this world.
After TVXQ, imo SM became just the company it needs to be. There\'s a reason for SMs success, and why it was always number 1- because of the way things get done there. Up until now, there were a few problems. Shinee, F(x), SNSD, and (most of) SuJu stuck around and kept going with SM. If it was that bad, they\'d all quit, and nobody had any problems after that. Until now. I\'m a huge SONE and supporter of all SM groups, and I understand that the problem with SNSD is the girl\'s age. They\'ve been doing this for years, and now they\'re getting older, ready to start an adult life, choosing their own paths, of course things are falling apart. But the problem with EXO is something different. It\'s the work hard part. They don\'t get it, how long and how hard these other artists worked to get to the life they have now, they want it all, they want it now. And considering the huge popularity they gained in a short time, they used it as a reason to DEMAND all the benefits that would await them later. But SM is an organized company full of rules, and no way that was going to happen. They might be good, but popularity might fade away- ONLY hard work --> success. So they thought they\'d make it on their own.
And then other companies came that offered less work and more benefits- OF COURSE, since SM already did most of the job, making them famous! It\'s easy for them now...but let\'s not forget, the popularity of KOREAN pop, and how the Chinese industry isn\'t that big yet... and even in the KPOP industry, SM is on top. If they wanted to go big, they\'d stay, and work until they get there. They chose the easy way, but the reward won\'t be as big, so I wonder if they\'ll regret it. Fame can get to your head, and you can change and become a hungry opportunist, which I think is the case. They chose the idol life, without understanding what it means, and as soon as it got hard, they quit. That\'s not an idol.
100% agree. At the end SM is just a "star museum" as the name suggests, its goal is to produce stars and use them to earn money.
they don\'t owe everything to SM. They trained, debuted then worked asses of. yes they got popular and earned money BUT sm earned ALOT of money too. there\'s a lot of ent. companies but the issue of members leaving their group always happen to SM(JYJ, Hangeng, Kris and Jessica) YG and JYP made their idols and popular and rich too, but you don\'t see them suing their company right? most of the scandals they have are(dating,DUI, drugs etc.) And I think that the reason on why SNSD, fx and Shinee stayed because all of them except Victoria are koreans, and koreans aren\'t protected by the law unlike the chinese members. The korean members can be blacklisted to entertainment industry like JYJ have you seen JYJ perform on music broadcast after their lawsuit? no right. And that\'s JYJ were taking about(one of biggest if not, the biggest boy group in Korea) do you think that the Snsd, fx and shinee members have the guts to go against SM after they saw what happened to JYJ( hell, I barely see JYJ except for their dramas since SM can\'t do anything about it) If the korean members can\'t be blacklisted I think they\'d file a lawsuit too, and I honestly feel bad for them because them can\'t do anything but put up with SM.
I can\'t believe that some people actually believe this RUMOR
Luhan is sick. he\'s over exhausted, injured and barely gets any sleep. He even take large doses of sleeping pills during flights due to his fear of heights.(if you\'re a Luhan fan you would know that he\'s scared of heights)
he even posted this on his weibo account when he missed TLP Thailand:
"I have to apologize to Thailand fans and everyone else. Due to excessive exhaustion over a long period of time, I\'ve been having persistent headaches, sleeping problems, and I feel dizzy often..."
Luhan\'s dream was always to be an idol. He even went to Korea and trained for years, and now that he actually reached his dream I don\'t think he will easily quit being an idol or leave EXO just because of money or to form a group with Kris, Lay and Tao( lol this rumor totally sounds like bullshit, I really cant believe that some people think it\'s true)
I think SM paid allkpop to post this to destroy Luhan\'s image. SM official statement says that "Luhan prioritized personal gain"
1. Luhan did his best to attend the concerts even tho he\'s sick.
3. The other members don\'t say some emotional/OT11 bullshit on instragram like they did during the kris situation.
4. He even reassured the fans that he love them(see his latest instagram update)
SM media playing to make Luhan(and Jessica or every idol who left SM) look bad. Ha!~ what\'s new
I feel like im the only one feeling like this
EXO-M is finished. I say this as a person who is an EXO fan --; the only thing left to do is either fuse EXO-M with EXO-K for one EXO or get new Chinese members (which Korean fans will be against because they aren\'t impressed with Chinese idols atm and international fans won\'t like this because we want the originals or nothing at all). I feel bad for Lay and Tao they\'re still popular in China but Luhan is like god among Chinese fans. Lay and Tao could do really good for themselves leaving the company. Any agency would be more than willing to snatch them. As for Chen as Xiumin it\'s no brainer. They\'re popular in Korea so it\'s no problem for them to join EXO-K.
