When a young man, Tommy Dowd, is beaten during a rendezvous with an older woman at a hotel, Detectives Benson and Stabler soon find that this incident is just one of a string of such beatings, some of them fatal. All of the victims are discovered to be male escorts whose employer Leslie DeSantis comes under scrutiny for sending her staff on dates with potential murderers--and may herself have reason to want some of the escorts dead.
