Duncan's Point Of View.
I sighed. I longed to go to , to comfort her, to caress her, but I could not, and so I remained outside, just below her window, watching and listening. I thought of her silky hair and dancing eyes. My mouth filled with the bittersweet taste of longing. The first flush of dawn chased me away, but before I left, I thrust a note beneath her window sash.
I have watched from the shadows;
